levels of play

The Charlottesville Sports and Social Club offers levels of play for every athlete, recreational and competitive. We have three different levels so there is something for everyone. If you're not sure what level you are - read the description and guess. If you guess low - you'll be a star. If you guess high - you'll have to improve your game a little.

Extreme Social - For those who are brand new and want to learn the ropes, and are more interested in having a fun time rather than winning. Play is not very refined at this level, whether from lack of athletic talent or excess of alcohol consumption.

Super Social - Games at this level are a little tighter, players are a little more talented and have begun to figure out the rules and strategies. You'll find a wide arrange of talent at this level -- from veterans who have been around a few seasons and know the nuances of the rules, to beginners who have just joined up with the club.

Social - This division is for experienced players who want a little more competition. You can expect a high quality of play at this level and competitive games, but in the end everyone heads back to the bar anyway.
